The Reality of Meth Addiction
Meth is often smoked, snorted, swallowed, or injected. Its effects can last 6–12 hours, which is much longer than other stimulants like cocaine. With repeated use, the drug causes profound changes in the brain’s dopamine system, destroying the ability to feel pleasure without it.
